I think this concludes the unfortunate story. The boat is under plastic on Long Island, still with much work required.

Chris: You might have guessed, I like sailing. Dan and I have been sailing together since school/University. We have built dinghys, raced and won a lot of competitions. So he's bought a boat in the USA, and we're sailing it back. This won't be easy, but we aren't taking it lightly
